CHANGING THE CONVERSATION for People Living With Diabetes
Clara was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and remembers that her diagnosis changed her world in an instant. Living with diabetes has required her to adapt, grow, and build routines that support her health every day.
Clara’s daily challenges include constant blood sugar monitoring and managing diabetes in busy environments. Diabetes requires planning and attention even when she would rather focus on school, friends, and the things she enjoys.
Over time, living with T1D has helped Clara become more resilient and confident. She has learned how to advocate for herself and speak up for what she needs.
Clara is modeling in the Pump Couture Fashion Show to raise awareness, support D-Camps, and help change the conversation about living with diabetes.
